dpreview has just posted the interview with Nikon executives at Photokina 2018 in September. They talked about Nikon’s first full frame mirrorless cameras Nikon Z6 and Nikon Z7, and D850, and end of Nikon 1 system. Nikon excutives believe that Nikon Z mount mirrorless system can achieve the number one position in the world’s full frame mirrorless camera market.
LensVid has interview with Mr. Dirk Jasper from Nikon Europe, talking about new Nikon Z mirrorless cameras. From the interview, Mr. Dirk Jasper said Nikon Z7(B&H/Adorama/Amazon) has better dynamic range and better continuous shooting than Nikon D850. Mr. Dirk Jasper also said that Nikon will continue to release F-mount lenses for the foreseeable future, but mirrorless cameras will become more dominant than DSLRs (even for professionals).
Several days ago, we posted that Nikon may also release Zxx or Zxxx cheap mirrorless cameras in the future. Now according to a recent interview with Mr. Hiroyuki Ikegami (Nikon Imaging Business Development Department Director), we may also see a pro model like Nikon D5 in Z-line.
In a recently interview with Nikon executive officer Kimito Uemura by NHK World Japan (Video above), Nikon executive confirmed they will bring new Nikon mirrorless cameras before Spring of 2019.

French Website Focus-numerique has made an interview with Nikon’s optical engineer: Satoshi Yamazaki at CP+ Show 2018. From the interview, Nikon optical engineer said that 100MP Nikon full frame sensor is possible, and it is still hard to say that upcoming Nikon full frame mirrorless camera will use Nikon F-mount lenses or not.
