Nikon president has already confirmed that they are working on new mirrorless cameras. According to previous rumors, new Nikon mirrorless cameras is likely to be announced in late 2017 to early 2018.

Specs:

Currently, there is no detail specs on upcoming new Nikon mirrorless cameras. According to rumors, new mirrorless cameras will be marked as “high-end“, unlike current Nikon 1 series mirrorless cameras. Maybe Nikon is planing to release APS-C mirrorless or full frame mirrorless cameras.

Lenses:

There are already several Nikon full frame mirrorless lens patents. Such as Nikon 24-68mm f/2.8-4 full frame mirrorless lens, and Nikon 28-80mm f/3.5-5.6 VR full frame mirrorless lens.
