In a recently video talk with Tamron’s sale rep Marc Morris, he confirmed that Tamron currently is working on mirrorless lenses for Nikon Z-mount and Canon RF mount. You can watch the full talk video above (Nikon Z-mount confirmed at 29-minute mark).
Tamron has just issued the compatibility notices for a number of its Di and Di II lenses regarding issues that arise when shooting on Nikon Z6 and Nikon Z7 with their respective first-party lens adapters.
Tamron today has announced that some of their Di/Di II series lenses do not work on the new Nikon Z7 mirrorless camera (B&H/Adorama/Amazon) with the FTZ Nikon Mount Adapter. Tamron haven’t yet disclosed which lenses are affected.
Tamron now officially announced the previous leaked SP 15-30mm f/2.8 Di VC USD G2 lens. It has new elements and coatings, a more powerful autofocus CPU and an enhanced Vibration Correction system. The Nikon F-mount will be released on September 21st, 2018, US price is $1,299.00, now available for pre-order at B&H Photo/Adorama.
