According to latest rumors on NR, Nikon is going to release new major firmware update for Nikon Z6 II and Z7 II in September. Nikon will introduce new real-time tracking system for Z6 II & Z7 II – this will also coming to Nikon Z9.

Nikon tomorrow will officially announce new firmware updates version 1.10 for Nikon Z6 II and Nikon Z7 II. The new firmware will be available for download on February 25. The details of new firmware is that it will introduce improved eye AF performance and 4K UHD 60p support for the Z6 II.
After Nikon officially announced the new Z6 II and Z7 II, Atomos has just announced ProRes RAW support for both cameras. According to Atomos, Z6 II and Z7 II will be able to output up to 4Kp30 RAW over HDMI that will then be able to be recorded as ProRes RAW files when combined with the Atomos Ninja V monitor-recorder.
