According to trusted source from NR, Nikon is planning to announce a new AF-S NIKKOR 600mm f/5.6 PF lens in next several months, the announcement time is likely in this Summer, June to August timeframe.
The AF-S NIKKOR 600mm f/5.6 PF lens will be much cheaper, lighter, smaller than current AF-S NIKKOR 600mm f/4E FL ED VR lens. According to source, AF-S NIKKOR 600mm f/5.6 PF lens will be 33cm long, while NIKKOR 600mm f/4E FL ED VR lens is 43cm long.
This AF-S NIKKOR 600mm f/5.6 PF Lens mounted on a Nikon D850 camera will be a dream come true for many wildlife photographers.
